Speaking of Texas...I've taken the liberty of copying and pasting my 2 recent posts from the Motel 6 facebook page here FYI:
ReplyDeleteTue 3/15/11 (pm): Just booked a room on-line, and the promo code didn't make any difference. It was the same as the "special internet rate"?! :(
Wed 3/16/11 (am): P.S. The room I booked above was for my 72 yr old mother who stayed at the El Paso West location last night in Texas. What a nighmare that turned out to be! :( Because we "modified" the reservation by adding 1 person, the night desk clerk (JULIAN) *deleted* my on-line reservation (which I spent well over an hour researching/comparing properties and completing on-line with the promo code/special internet price), and charged her the full "rack" rate. My mom also complained the room smelled and she felt the floors and blankets were dirty. When I called to complain about the overcharge on her behalf, "JULIAN" proceeded to argue with me and told me to take it up with the day manager and hung on me. JULIAN is a condescending jerk! I reported the entire incident to Motel 6 Guest Relations and lodged a complaint (report #903433). BEWARE EL PASO WEST LOCATION! >:@
Crisy67 thank you for keeping Texas travelers in the loop! (Brand managers beware!)
